@Mirja, agree, but this particular mechanism is special (and some other procedural ones may be) because of the appearance of the IESG generating and approving a procedure that selects the IESG. Again, I thought it was important to have the discussion, not to reach any particular outcome. If no one feels strongly about it and there are no volunteers who really want to dig in, I think the answer is clear.
