General comments: 1. Re-consider the multiple ways the word "guides" is used for multiple programs to be sure it is clear about to what it refers. 2. Input will be also solicited from the emo-dir list ### 4. IETF 114 plans {#4-ietf-114-plans} Karen reviewed the plans and timing for the upcoming IETF 114 meeting. Q: about newcomers dinner: just for newcomers? A: TL;DR: yes, at the moment ### 5. Outreach (Andrew Campling) {#5-outreach-andrew-campling} Overview by Andrew about the [proposal he has made][3] via the emo-dir list. Discussion/commments: * Suggestion to consult with ISOC, in particulare abou their [Policy Guests Program][4] * Active participation may not be a realistic goal (given other commitments) * Providing WG chairs info/encouragement to engage folks about their work might be a good activit Andrew reports that initial reaction from potential participants is "interested". Next steps: Connect with ISOC (Karen and Andrew) about their experience with the ISOC Policy program. ### 6.
