Ok my thoughts here then: Pagination + change detection is needed, SCIM Events is not viable for all implementers and there is likely to be a draft on a client-initiated \"old-school\" query mechanism for change detection (i.e.: a \"delta query\")

GET of all results at once is also not feasible at larger scale, I disagree with Phil's statement that cursor-based (or really, stateful) pagination's use case should be limited to a subset of results. \"Write to disk\" isn't a solution with all server architectures, and the sizes of larger sets of results becomes way too large - a set of 1 million resources at 2kb per resource would be a single 2 gigabyte web response, which is unmanageable for a lot of systems, especially distributed/containerized ones (not a dev, so trying my best on the architecture stuff)
