2. Thing-to-Thing Research Group (T2TRG) Review

  Carsten Bormann and Ari Keränen updated the IAB on the activities
  of the Thing-to-Thing Research Group.

  T2TRG has published two RFCs so far:

    • RFC 9556: Internet of Things (IoT) Edge Challenges and Functions
    • RFC 8576: Internet of Things (IoT) Security: State of the Art and
      Challenges

  T2TRG is working across SDOs (W3C, OCF, OMA, Bluetooth SIG, OneDM)
  and implementer communities (RIOT, Eclipse) on common topics. They
  have good collaboration with many IETF WGs and IRTF RGs.

  Future plans include work on information/interaction modeling,
  security, and sustainability.


3. ICANN NomCom Interviews

  Dhruv Dhody, Tommy Pauly, and Alvaro Retana will interview the ICANN
  NomCom candidates. Cindy Morgan will schedule the interviews.


4. Executive Session: IRTF Chair Appointment

  Wes Hardaker recused himself from the discussion and left the
  meeting.

  The IAB discussed the IRTF Chair appointment in an executive session.
