Agenda bash and announcements 1.3. Meeting Minutes The following meeting minutes were approved: • 2025-09-24 business meeting - (submitted 2025-09-25) 2. Open Fiber Data Standard (OFDS) Stephen Song from ISOC gave a technical presentation about the Open Fiber Data Standard. The Open Fibre Data Standard is a standard for publishing data on terrestrial fibre optic broadband infrastructure. This standard can provide better network analysis tools and better mapping and data sharing. 3. Human Rights in Standards Simone Onofri from W3C gave a technical presentation about human rights in standards. The W3C have created a human-web threat model that can assess various categories of human rights, security, and privacy. The goal of this threat model framework is to make it adaptable to various environments. 4. IAB Open Meeting at IETF 124 The IAB discussed potential agenda items for the IAB Open session at IETF 124. 5. IAB Business Meetings at IETF 124 The IAB reviewed a list of potential agenda topics for their meetings during IETF 124. Tommy Pauly will sort the topics into meeting agendas. 6. BOF Coverage at IETF 125 IAB members discussed who would attend which BOFs during IETF 124. BOF coverage is detailed at https://wiki.ietf.org/group/iab/Bof124. 7. No major issues for IAB Other Issues of Interest to IAB IESG Procedures/Processes On-going work on updating IESG statements: - New statement published on the conflict resolution and appeals process: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/statement-iesg-statement-on-the- conflict-resolution-and-appeals-processes/ Part of the idea is to set some expectations on acceptable appeal content and formatting. - On-going review of the 2025 Note Well text and some discussion of how WG chairs should present this in meetings. These times include the steps that ICANN has control over and not time it is waiting on requesters, document authors or other experts. Eric also has a panel in Cooperation WG. - ICANN 84: A meeting between leadership on Sunday before the ICANN meeting is set up. Also planning further activities in ICANN 85. There is a new process for posting liaison statements that are sent via email. Instead of the Secretariat uploading them directly to the Datatracker, the Secretariat now forwards them them to liaison managers or coordinators to make sure they go to the right place inside IETF. 8. Marconi Institute Request Greg Wood asked the IAB for guidance on responding to a collaboration inquiry from the Marconi Institute. Greg will respond and direct further correspondence to the IAB. 9. IAB Decision Process The IAB completed an electronic vote to unanimously approve updating its decision making progress. 9. Review of Open Issues for Responsibilities Tommy Pauly noted that the ISOC Board of Trustees appointment process will begin soon.
