Glenn Deen

Glenn Deen is a Distinguished Engineer at Comcast-NBCUniversal. Glenn is the co-chair of the IETF Adaptive DNS Discovery (ADD) and technical advisor to the Media Operations (MOPS) working groups. He is the current chair of the IETF Trust, and a past chair of the IAOC and the IETF LLC interim Board of Directors.

He’s been active in a variety of standards development and organizations for many years including the IETF, W3C, SMPTE, and SVTA. His first IETF was IETF 81 in Quebec City.

Glenn's interests focus on streaming, CDNs, DNS, cryptography and network policy.

In addition to the IETF, Glenn is the President of the Streaming Video Technology Alliance (https://svta.org) and chairs the Networking and Transport group there.
