Maja Andjelkovic
Maja Andjelkovic is a senior innovation and entrepreneurship specialist with the World Bank Group, where she has led the Bank’s global program for digital entrepreneurship, developed a method for systematic analysis of entrepreneurship ecosystems and piloted new entrepreneurship support instruments such as XL-Africa.com, which won the president’s excellence award.
Previously, she worked as the World Bank’s counselor for Canada, product manager in a sentiment analysis startup in Toronto, and adviser to the International Institute for Sustainable Development, where she initiated IISD’s work on Internet governance. Her LLM thesis (University of Kent) focused on Internet governance and international law. She completed her PhD on "Mimetic Processes in Entrepreneurship Ecosystems" at the Oxford Internet Institute, supported by the Oxford University Press.
