Concluded WG Diameter Maintenance and Extensions (dime)

Hi DIME WG,

As will come as no surprise, I am closing the DIME WG.  This is in an effort to transition my work to Mahesh in as clean a state as possible.

Given, various emails that I have seen, and errata raised, I’m aware that folks are implementing and using Diameter.  It is always nice to see when the IETF standards are adopted by industry.

I would like to thank everyone involved in this work, from the chairs to the regular participants, with the WG producing 31 RFCs over the time that it has been chartered.

The mailing list will remain open to allow for future discussion, resolution of errata, etc.

Small maintenance work for the Diameter protocol can be taken to the OPSAWG WG, but larger work items would need the WG to be rechartered again to scope and facilitate the new work.
