draft-benecke-cfbl-address-header

draft-benecke-cfbl-address-header-10 has been presented to the ISE for
publication as an Informational RFC on the Independent Stream.

==Purpose==

This document describes a method that allows a Message Originator to
specify a complaint feedback loop (FBL) address as a message header
field. It also defines the rules for processing and forwarding such
a complaint.

== History==

This draft was first presented to the ISE in June of 2021. After some
initial reviews, it was discussed with the ART ADs and the EXTRA
chairs. The draft was not dispatched, and there was some discussion
with an AD to consider a working group to address new headers. That
idea was dropped, and so the draft returned to me as an experiment.

==Non-IETF Work==

This experiment will be considered a success if it sees adoption, at
which time the author hopes to return the work to the IETF.

==Security Considerations==

See Section 6 of the draft.

==IANA==

See Section 7 of the draft.

==Reviews==

Dave Crocker reviewed an early version of this work, and Richard
Clayton a later version. I'll note that these reviews are mixed in
terms of the utility of the work. Thus the experimental nature.
