This document describes emerging functions and challenges when more IoT
application functionality is moved from the cloud to the edge. The document has
been widely discussed at the T2TRG meetings and mailing list. Many RG
participants have considered the information very useful for the community and
all comments on the contents have been addressed by the authors. No new major
comments were received during last call, and we have a good consensus in the RG
to move this document forward. There are no IPR disclosures for the draft and
all authors have confirmed all necessary IPR disclosures have been made per the
IRTF policy.
