Group description
The General Area (GEN) consists of WGs and other activities focused on supporting, updating and maintaining the IETF standards development process. These non-WG activities include the General Area Open Meeting (GENAREA), General Area Review Team (Gen-ART) and other IETF-wide teams.
GEN also has non-working group mailing lists to support the discussion of the policies and procedures of the IETF standards process. These topic-focused lists include:
