Working Group Status

• New RFC since last IETF

• Bunch of document which are in AD review

  • Andrew : there is high queue. within next week or two you will
    see more progress for document.
  • Stephane : we can not make progress for other document as there
    is now bottelneck
  • Andrew : there is very much queue reduction plan in coming
    weeks.

• draft-ietf-bess-evpn-mh-pa : review comment received

  • Luc : update in progress.

• draft-ietf-bess-evpn-fast-df-recovery: Document expired

  • Luc : document has been updated

• BGP multicast draft:

  • Jeffery : got side tracked, and now ready to make progress

draft-ietf-bess-evpn-per-mcast-flow-df-election

• Document is ready to make progress. it has implementation already
  and document ready for WGLC.
• there is section need modification where DF algo type being defined
  based on current bit allocation.

draft-ietf-bess-evpn-l2gw-proto-02

• document is mature , mobility section added in latest version.
• based on feedback from WG mac duplication section added.
• ready for WGLC

draft-burdet-bess-evpn-fast-reroute

• based on feedback document updated for different multi homing
  procedures.
• support for Vxlan and SRv6 defined

draft-ietf-extended-evpn-optimized-ir

• document is mature
• its implemented and deployed. ready for WGLC
  • Ali : is this for all active ?
  • Wen : yes, all active is more common use case in DC
  • Ali : so this is applicable only for all active where as single
    active can still use the base procedure
  • Wen : yes, for single active it may not needed. but it would be
    helpful to save bandwidth.

• all comments have been addressed
• document getting mature to move to next step
• document ready for WGLC
  • Stephane : is there any changes which may impact backward
    compatibility
  • Ali : we have taken care of this aspect. do not see any inter op
    issue
  • John : we have made sure that there is no impact.
