Agenda:

* CBOR specification status : Carsten
  https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-cbor-7049bis-13

  Summary from last meeting:
  - #177 Review the list for history
  - #176 Good support on the call for this to be added. Need more discussion
on how it is used. Bring to mailing list. - Implementers review status -
Next submission by the end of the month, then ready to ship CB: Expects to
see some more comments coming in from at least one additional impementor Did
not manage to make much in the way of progress
Expects to have about 4 days of work to get the next version out
FP: Looked at the mailing list for the DE update information. Could not find
  the minutes for the discussion.

Will get back to this before EOM.

* Date and time tag document: Mike (no slides)
  https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-jones-cbor-date-tag-01

MJ: Asks the chairs/WG for the expected process to get the documents stable.
CB: What is the status that we give these documents. Information or Standards
More of an issue in terms of additional documents referencing for the downref
  list.
Might allow documents to reference the registery directly rather than to the
document. Should get some AD perspective on this question Still believes that
we should look at doing a consolidation document for having an archive of tags
that are currently defined in places like a website.
MJ: Would like this to be done for ISO to be able to reference quickly.
Would like to request adoption from the WG.
CB: Agree that document would be way to go
FP: we can start WG adoption call. Asks for poll of people who have read
document (CB, HB, MJ, JS, LL, ID, PY, FP)
LL: Does worry about the possiblity of having too many types of dates and ties
HB: Dates and times are very different things - doesn't expect this to be an
  issue

* CDDL freezer: Carsten
  https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-bormann-cbor-cddl-freezer-03
HB: How do we compartmentize this? What else should be in the first chunk.
FP: Related to the chairs project to try and get feedback on rquests for
features How urgent is this compared to the other items on the list. JS: Would
prefer not to have a huge document to make things wait on the slowest item FP;
Still have an issue of same author may cause issues CB: I think that the JSON
format needs to get pulled in sooner Module interface is highest priority, but
it is not clear how to do this. HB: Suggest bundling controls and make the JSON
format separate CB: What other controls are ready to go? HB: Bitfield control,
CB: That looks to be a can of worms - Lots of design space to cover this ABNF
is well understood HB: Start a draft with all controls and then trim out things
that are not progressing. Would like to see a more fleshed out cut design ID:
Would probably favor several documents. Really would like to see ABNF control
done. FP: CB to submit individual draft for comments to start working on in the
group. Can rediscuss scope as part of the adoption call. CB: Need to get a
proposal for import/export thing.

  Summary from last meeting:
