  • Introduction & Agenda Bashing (5 min)

Med: future of working group? Energy to continue?

  • drip-auth (10 min)
  • Updates on the SAM registry
  • Plan for a second WGLC (if the SAM issue is fixed)

AD: Explained the current plan for SAMs: Ask the LLC to request the
codes (copying the WG list) + request an IANA mirror page + update the
draft accordingly (with the code point values and pointing to the mirror
IANA page). He also hopes/expects to have an official reply from ASTM
about the outbound IETF Liaison Statement.

AW: the other code point is already assigned by ASTM. SAM codepoints,
once assigned by ICAO on behalf of ASTM, will be duplicate listed by
IANA.

  • drip-registries (30 min)
    • Update on the directorate reviews
    • Pending issues
    • Next steps

Jim R. reminded us we still confront issues re: IPv6 prefix allocation &
DNS reverse lookup apex zone delegation
Jim to send a message to the list. The AD will follow-up on the actions.

  • Open Mic (15 min)
    • Next meetings
    • Future of the WG

SC: sad of non-critical mass of participants. ASTM shows extreme
interest (A2X work). FAA has shown interest (has seen many demos with AX
and NYUASTS). Two rounds was always expected.

Med: want to re-assess engagement before adopting more documents. needs
to find how to engage others. Try publishing in Internet Journals,
presentations?

EV: ASTM/ICAO appears to be very formal. Some IETF WGs only do remote
interim meetings (i.e., no fee). That may be a solution for more
participation.

AW: agree with all points.

SC: clarification - Bob asks for adoption but SC agrees with Med. But
repeated restructing of registries has made DKI somewhat a core document
so either pull back into registries or adopt. Not a great cheerleader or
recuiter. seek guidance and help to make more.

DM: people recruited are probably outside the IETF

SC: that maybe i can do, twist some arms.

EV: also extend into security part of IETF as well. originally was in
sec, then moved to int.
