1. Administrivia
1.1 Approval of the Minutes

The minutes of the July 06 and July 13, 2023 Teleconference were
approved. The Secretariat will place the minutes in the public
archives.

o Lars Eggert and Martin Duke to rewrite IESG statement to give more
  guidance about issuing LOIs for interim meetings.
o One AD from each area to diagram their Area topology and send it to
  Martin Duke for collation.
o Lars Eggert to ask the LLC to come up with a proposal on how we can
  support a pre-configured remote participation option inside meeting
  rooms.

The management issue was discussed. An action item to find designated
experts for RFC 9420 was assigned to Paul Wouters prior to the start of
the teleconference.

6.2 [IANA #1275603] Designated experts for RFC 9122 on IANA Registry
    for Sieve Actions (Murray Kucherawy)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved Alexey Melnikov
<alexey.melnikov@isode.com> and Ken Murchison <Ken Murchison> as the
designated expert for RFC 9122 (IANA Registry for Sieve Actions).

6.3 Management item for DTN registry statement (Erik Kline and Zahed
    Sarker)

The management issue was deferred to the next IESG teleconference
(August 24, 2023).

6.4 Starting a Community Discussion on Priorities for IESG Processes
    (Lars Eggert)

The management issue was discussed.

6.5 Appeal Discussion and updated Statement (Martin Duke and Lars
    Eggert)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved the revised
Guidance on Hybrid and Online Interim Meetings.

Action item: Lars Eggert to draft a response to the appeal on the
current guidance on interim meetings.

6.6 Friday Afternoon Sessions for IETF 118 (IESG)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved the experiment to
extend Friday afternoon sessions for IETF 118.

Action item: IESG to decide how to use the experimental Friday
afternoon sessions at IETF 118.

6.7 [IANA #1277796] Designated experts for RFC 9457 on Problem Details for HTTP
APIs (IANA)

The management issue was discussed. An action item to find designated experts
for RFC 9457 was assigned to Murray Kucherawy prior to the start of the
teleconference.

6.8 Downref in the Extra Last Call for draft-ietf-ohai-ohttp (Murray Kucherawy)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved adding RFC 9180 to the
downref registry when draft-ietf-ohai-ohttp is returned to the RFC Editor Queue.

6.9 [IANA #1278422] Designated expert for RFC 3326 (The Reason Header Field for
the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)) (IANA)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved Christer Holmberg
<christer.holmberg@ericsson.com> as the designated expert for RFC 3326 (The
Reason Header Field for the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)), replacing
Gonzalo Camarillo.
