Here's the official statement from RealNetworks with regards to
intellectual property claims on RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol,
currently draft-ietf-mmusic-rtsp-06.txt), which you may put on the IETF IPR
page as you deem appropriate:

"RealNetworks has applied for one or more patents on technology related to
media streaming.  If any patents issued to RealNetworks are required to
implement the Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), RealNetworks intends to
disclose those patents and license them under openly specified and
non-discriminatory terms, and furthermore will not enforce those patents
necessary to comply with the RTSP specification when used solely to implement
RTSP.  This will apply irrespective of whether or not the licensee has any
business relationship with RealNetworks.  Given where RealNetworks is in
the patent process, details cannot be disclosed at this time, but
RealNetworks intends to disclose such information as soon as it is
appropriate."
