Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs) is the owner of the US patent applications and provisional patent applications identified above.

If technology in this IPR disclosure statement is included in a document adopted by IETF in an Internet Draft or RFC, and any claims of any CableLabs patents are necessary for practicing such Internet Draft or RFC, any party will have the right to use any such patent claims under reasonable, non-discriminatory terms, with reciprocity, to implement and fully comply with the standard.

The reasonable non-discriminatory terms are:

If the Internet Draft or RFC is adopted, including CableLab’s contribution as reflected in this IPR disclosure statement, CableLabs will agree, subject to the following reciprocity commitment, not to assert any claims in the identified patents or patent applications owned or controlled by CableLabs that are both reflected in this IPR disclosure statement and are technically necessary to implement the Internet Draft or RFC against any party for the making, using, selling, importing or offering for sale of the compliant portion of a product that implements such Internet Draft or RFC, provided, however that (i) such party first makes an identical, mutual commitment in writing to CableLabs and its members before first asserting anywhere a patent against CableLabs or its members, or their compliant products or services, any time after the date of this submission; and (ii) CableLabs retains the right to assert such claims in the identified patents and patent applications (including the right to claim past royalties) against any party that asserts anywhere a patent it owns or controls (either directly or indirectly) against CableLabs or its members, or against any of their products or services either alone or in combination with other products; and (iii) CableLabs retains the right to assert all other claims, including claims in the identified patents or patent applications, that are not technically necessary to implement the Internet Draft or RFC.

Note: The individual submitting this template represents and warrants that he or she is authorized by the Patent Holder to agree to the above-selected licensing declaration.
