Cloudflare is the patent holder for patent US 11,647,008 that includes one or more claims that may be necessarily infringed by implementing the technology required by this IETF specification (“Necessary Patent Claim(s)”) for the purpose of implementing such specification. In the event the IETF specification is included in a standard (Proposed Standard or Internet Standard) adopted by the IETF, Cloudflare hereby grants to you a perpetual, world-wide, non-exclusive, no-charge, irrevocable (except as provided below), non-assignable and non-transferable license under the Necessary Patent Claim(s) to make, use, sell, offer for sale, or import products and/or services that implement the technology required by this IETF specification. Cloudflare retains the right to assert its claims that are not Necessary Patent Claims. Termination. If you, directly or indirectly, file or cause to file a claim for patent infringement (including a cross-claim or counterclaim) against Cloudflare, any subsidiary of Cloudflare, any affiliate of Cloudflare, or any customer of Cloudflare related to an alleged infringement by a Cloudflare product or service, then any patent rights granted to you under this license shall automatically terminate as of the date of such patent infringement claim. |
