Source: ITU-T WP2/11 COM 11 – LS 67 – E, Ref. : TD 671 (GEN/11) Approval: ITU-T WP 2/11 (Geneva, 13 May 2011) Q5/11 met in Geneva from 10-12 May, 2011. We wish to communicate progress of draft Recommendation Q.Flowstatesig for your action. As indicated previously in our response to your January 2011 liaison, we are basing the FSA protocol on a new Ethertype at Layer 2 so that there can be no conflict with other protocols. We have now updated the draft to reflect this. As a result, we believe that we have fully addressed the IETF concerns. We have scheduled draft Recommendation Q.Flowstatesig for consent at the next ITU-T SG-11 meeting [17-21 October 2011]. We are sending you the draft Recommendation Q.Flowstatesig for your review. We would appreciate receiving your comments prior to September 12, 2011. Q5/11 next meets in Geneva from October 17-21, 2011.
