Abstract: This LS aims to inform ITU-T SG13, SG17 and IETF WG OPSAWG that SG11 has consented draft Recommendation ITU-T Q.3742 (ex.Q.SD-DCI) “Signalling requirements and data models for SD-DCI service”. ITU-T SG11 would like to thank ITU-T SG13, SG17 and IETF WG OPSAWG for the previous information exchange and share its latest progress on Software-Defined Data Center Interconnecting (SD-DCI). At the ITU-T SG11 plenary meeting in Geneva, on 10 May 2024, the following draft Recommendation has been consented: - ITU-T Q.3742 (ex.Q.SD-DCI) “Signalling requirements and data models for SD-DCI service”. This Recommendation provides the signalling requirements for SD-DCI service in one single network operator. The signalling is to support the dynamical setup and management of the multiple data centers’ interconnections. This Recommendation focuses on the signalling requirements among the SD-DCI controller, orchestrator and application. The consented draft is contained in SG11-TD1127/GEN. ITU-T SG11 looks forward to continuing collaboration on this subject matter and would appreciate ITU-T SG13, SG17 and IETF WG OPSAWG for sharing information on any related works on SD-DCI.
