Abstract: This liaison statement informs ITU-T SG13, SG16, IETF RATS and IETF TEEP that during its last meeting (Geneva, 1-10 May 2024) ITU-T SG11 initiated a new work item ITU-T Q.CCONS “Signalling requirements and protocol for confidential computing orchestration of network slices in IMT-2020 networks and beyond”. During the ITU-T SG11 meeting (Geneva, 1-10 May 2024), Q6/11 agreed on the initiation of a new work item ITU-T Q.CCONS “Signalling requirements and protocol for confidential computing orchestration of network slices in IMT-2020 networks and beyond” (SG11-TD1061/GEN). ITU-T Q.CCONS aims to specify the signalling requirements and protocol for confidential computing orchestration of network slices in IMT-2020 networks and beyond, which includes the signalling requirements, protocol procedures and message format. ITU-T SG11 would like to thank you for your consideration and looks forward to future cooperation on this subject.
