2) milestones are not really part of the charter text (they are in the datatracker as they usually tend to drift...) and Feb 2025 is probably too optimistic ;-)

Mostly a suggestion:

This is not my area, and I don't have a feel for how big each of these projects is, but assuming they're all at least "medium", eight of them at once seems a lot.  Might it be appropriate to save a few for a recharter?

With that long of a list of work items (both in the charter and adopted working group drafts),
pick a couple of milestones, please.

Ensure that protocol abbreviations are spelled out. 

(I also agree with Eric re:  'but is not limited to'.)

I find `but is not limited to` too open in a charter, suggest removing those words.

The current PIM WG charter is structured in a manner that unnecessarily restricts most multicast work from being undertaken within the WG. The purpose of this rechartering is to update the PIM WG charter to enable work on multicast technology documents that are directly related to PIM, IGMP and MLD as well as on multicast-related documents developed in collaboration with other working groups.

OLD: 1) Management:  YANG models for PIM, IGMP, and MLD will be developed.  If
updates to existing MIB modules are necessary, the WG may work on those.

NEW: 1) Management:  YANG models for PIM, IGMP, and MLD will be developed, for both configuration and operational states. If updates to existing MIB modules are necessary, the WG may work on those.

This re-chartering effort includes the formal recognition of the responsibility of the WG with protocols including pim, igmp and mld.  Also, the WG is expected to be a resource for multicast expertise.  To that effect, the name is being changed to "Protocols for IP Multicast" (pim).

The PIM WG has completed the items in the previous charter.
