Technical Summary
 
 These documents define a BGP-based mechanism that allows a BGP speaker to
send to its BGP peer a set of route filters that the peer would use to
constrain/filter its outbound routing updates to the speaker.
 
Working Group Summary
 
 This mechanism is widely deployed by multiple vendors and the technology
has had no dissent and is considered very useful.
 
Protocol Quality
 
The extension is widely deployed and there are many interoperable
implementations.
