- v6 has been submitted according to IRTF chair review.
- minor update regarding the terminology and mandatory statement for RG documents added in introduction.
- last paragraph added in introduction to highlight the relevance of IBN research with an increasing interest over the last years (including references).
- one important remark was about how such a document can support further research in the community. This draft introduces main IBN concepts. It is helpful to apprehend other research papers in this area. As a proof of its value for the community, this draft is already cited by around 50 other publications (https://scholar.google.com/scholar?oi=bibs&hl=en&cites=8352348836948895222,18116171166012135609&as_sdt=5), including established academic conferences and journals (IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE NetSoft, IEEE VTC, Springer JNSM, IEEE ICBC, etc)
