Abstract
This document introduces a protocol for the pre-association phase as defined in the ForCES (Forwarding and Control Element Separation) requirements documents [1]. The main purpose of this protocol is to bring mechanisms to automate the discovery and the configuration of logical elements in this ForCES architecture.
