Abstract
This document describes the requirements for an intelligent protocol for serving JPEG 2000 compressed image and metadata (JPIP). This document represents version 2 of the requirements and profiles of the JPIP standard (ISO/IEC 15444-9) found in document WG1N2522 of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG1 (the JPEG committee).
