using ID, details are in the draft Acee - in terms of draft, we always assumed
you can do this, and it’s implined in the work. Feel its in the scope of work

question on if you would stop upper layer protocol. A confirmed function to
Acee Gunter - extentions to know BGP strict BFD capabiliites. so is this
something you could do? e.g. this needs to be there before BGP can start to
signal BFD establishment preference. (IGPs have already special RFC based
extension in use for this functionality)? A have no objection to that function
Randy, can we drop that discussion in the email? A yes Comments - Acee, are we

- Alvaro, that is the plan and agreed with IDR chairs. more discussion needed
for L3 version - Paul C - for the L3 discovery, how is that contained in the
network? (re flooding) - P2P links. L3 discovery is just for discussion here,
was just informative here (vs. IDR) - Acee, would we not use all routers to
keep to one link? - A, allowed, a configuration option, but not envisioned to
do so - get it for free for L2
