KITTEN WG - IETF 95
===================

DATE: 2016-04-07
TIME: 16:20 - 17:20 ART
LOCATION: Quebracho A

Chairs:
* Ben Kaduk
* Matt Miller

PRIORITIES
----------

Stephen Farrell suggests that working group drafts move along once a certain
number of reviews and/or implementation experience reports. Working Group
Last Call would be more a call for objections. The Working Group could
use a similar process for adopting new work.

Interest in the room to adopt at least the following:

* draft-mccallum-kitten-krb-spake-preauth
* draft-williams-kitten-krb5-pkcross

Interesting in moving through Last Call at least the following:

* draft-ietf-kitten-pkinit-freshness

ACTION ITEMS
------------

* Determine the rough process and location to follow for this new process

Potential New Work

Priorities
 what needs to get done, how can we get there
 not enough responses on list, how do we get movement on items waiting for last
 call, and get action on new items need to publish some existing before pulling
 in new work

 Jabber - Greg: pre-auth of new items, des-des-des-die-die-die
 Jabber - Q: how may people needed? 3-5 to comment with opinions and knowledge
 Jabber - people proposing new, should help review existing

 hmac-sha2 - almost there
 sasl-saml-ec
 rfc6112bis - should move forward quickly
 iakerb (move to bottom)
 pkinit-alg-agility - people waiting, should not defer indefinitely
 pknit-freshness - Microsoft waiting on this to ship an implementation (move to
 top) krb-auth-indicator - shipping in MIT, maybe should move up

 Jabber - Rick: if waiting on numbers what can an author do?

 Stephen: WG can move a draft along with rough consensus. reviews and
 implementation can move to top of queue. can suggest that something is moving
 ahead with last call by making a call for objections
