Broadband Forum Work on “Hybrid Access for Broadband Networks” (WT-348)
|
Body |
Dear BBF colleagues, Thank you for your recent liaison statement "WT-348 Hybrid Access for Broadband Networks" from the End to End Architecture Working Group. Your upfront work on developing the architectural requirements for this effort will be key in determining any work on the part of the IETF. We respectfully request an update on the current content and work status for this effort coming out of your Q4 meeting (December 8-12, 2014). Such an update will be quite useful to eliminate the misinterpretation that early proposals, such as http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/91/slides/slides-91-mif-2.pdf, reflect BBF consensus. Regards, Brian Haberman Internet Area Director |
