We are pleased to report that the Broadband Forum has completed the first version of WT-350 (Ethernet Services Using BGP MPLS Based Ethernet VPNs (EVPN)). The first version includes Carrier Ethernet E-LAN service type using BGP MPLS EVPNs. This document provides technical architecture and equipment requirements needed to implement Ethernet services using BGP MPLS based Ethernet VPNs (EVPN) in IP/MPLS networks. We are pleased to report that the Broadband Forum has completed the first version of WT-350 (Ethernet Services Using BGP MPLS Based Ethernet VPNs (EVPN)). This document provides technical architecture and equipment requirements needed to implement Ethernet services using BGP MPLS based Ethernet VPNs (EVPN) in IP/MPLS networks.The BBF welcomes your input on this draft of the document and have attached a copy for your review and comment. The document is currently in straw ballot phase (similar to IETF WG last call) and the straw ballot comments will be reviewed and resolved the second week of June during the BBF Q2 meeting. We look forward to receiving your input by the first week of June 2015 to be considered for incorporation. We anticipate publishing this document by the end of Q3 2015.
