Attachments: N15993 WG11 would like to inform you that we have issued the Committee Draft of ISO/IEC CD 23009-6 DASH with Server Push and WebSockets at our MPEG#114 (attached as N15993). This specification provides enhancement of DASH streaming with HTTP/2 Server Push and WebSockets subprotocol, where the server can actively push media segments as well as manifest update to the clients. The specification provides various push strategies, depending on the request of the client. We would welcome your comments on this Committee Draft as well as other DASH standardization activities. For your information, our future meetings are: - The Ad-hoc group meeting: May 29th, Geneva, CH. - The 115th MPEG meeting: May 30th- June 3rd, Geneva, CH. |
