Response to Liaison Statement on IP Service Attributes 2016-02-26
|
Body |
We would like to thank you for your liaison of 14th April 2016. As you requested, we have encouraged MEF members to submit any feedback they have on the L3SM draft directly to the L3SM working group. We would like to clarify that the scope of the current MEF project is to develop Service Attribute definitions; it is not in the scope of the current project to create a Yang module. However, the IP Service Attributes project has been studying the L3SM draft to ensure that our attribute definitions are aligned with it as much as possible. It is hoped that this will enable a future MEF project that develops a Yang model to define it as an extension of the L3SM model, as you suggest. The next MEF meetings are: August 1-4, 2016 – Boston, USA October 24-27, 2016 - Ottawa, Canada |
