Dear colleagues, We are pleased to inform you that at its 29 January-9 February 2018 plenary meeting, ITU-T SG15 has initiated the final approval processes for: Corrigendum 1 to Recommendation ITU-T G.8013/Y.1731 (2015) “OAM functions and mechanisms for Ethernet based networks” (under the responsibility of Q10/15); Revised Recommendation ITU-T G.8021/Y.1341 “Characteristics of Ethernet transport network equipment functional blocks” (under the responsibility of Q10/15); and New Recommendation ITU-T G.8023 “Characteristics of equipment functional blocks supporting Ethernet physical layer and Flex Ethernet interfaces” (under the responsibility of Q11/15). o This new Recommendation specifies both the functional components and the methodology that should be used in order to specify the Ethernet physical layer interfaces (formerly specified in clauses 8 and 10 of Recommendation ITU-T G.8021/Y.1341) and Flex Ethernet interfaces. These documents are attached for your information. We would appreciate any comments you may have on these documents. ITU-T SG15 would like to express its appreciation for the continued useful exchange of information on Ethernet standards and looks forward to further interaction between our organizations. ITU-T Q10/15 meets next 8-19 October 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland. ITU-T Q11/15 meets next 4-8 June 2018 in Beijing, China. Attachments: TD166R1/P, TD156R1/P and TD152R1/P. |
