After receiving the contribution entitled “Proposal to study the impacts of counterfeit and non-compliant mobile phones on QoS and QoE” (see Attachment), ITU-T SG12 agreed that, before opening a new work item for this topic, it would be necessary to collect information on existing studies, ongoing researches and/or technical materials related to the identification of the impacts of counterfeit and non-compliant mobile phones on the QoS of mobile networks. Therefore, your support will be appreciated and we look forward to receiving updated information, as well as any comments or suggestions from you on this subject.
