This document is to inform IETF, ITU-T SG15 on the new work item TR.MPM-SRv6
“Method for Performance Monitoring of SRv6 Network” that was started at the
SG11 meeting (Geneva, 10-13 May 2023).

ITU-T Study Group11 would like to inform IETF, ITU-T SG 15 that a new work item
TR.MPM-SRv6 “Method for Performance Monitoring of SRv6 Network” was agreed to
be initiated during the ITU-T SG11 meeting (Geneva, 10-19 May 2023). This work
item studies method for performance monitoring of SRv6 network, including:

- Description of function about performance monitoring of SRv6 network.
- Description of different progress about PM of SRv6 Network in different
standard organizations. - The monitoring architecture for performance of SRv6
network. - Exploring SRv6 network performance monitoring methods.

SG11 welcomes any information about the works and activities related to the
subject matter and we look forward for future collaboration.
