This document is to inform ITU-T SG13, IETF TEEP, IETF RATS on the new work
item Q.MFDC “Requirements and reference model for monitoring of federated data
cooperation service in multi-access edge computing in Future Network” that was
started at the SG11 meeting (Geneva, 10-20 October 2023).

ITU-T Study Group11 would like to inform ITU-T SG13, IETF TEEP, and IETF RATS
that a new work item Q.MFDC “Requirements and reference model for monitoring of
federated data cooperation service in multi-access edge computing in Future
Network” was agreed to be initiated during the ITU-T SG11 meeting (Geneva,
10-20 October 2023). This Recommendation aims to study the requirements and
reference model for monitoring of federated data cooperation service in MEC in
Future Network. In particular, the scope of this Recommendation includes:

- General requirement for monitoring of federated data cooperation service in
MEC in Future Network; - Method of monitoring of federated data cooperation
service monitoring in MEC in Future Network; - Reference model for monitoring
of federated data cooperation service in MEC in Future Network.

SG11 welcomes any information about the works and activities related to the
subject matter and Question 13/11 looks forward to future collaboration.
