This liaison statement informs about the progress of new Recommendation ITU-T
Y.3061 “Autonomous Networks - Architecture Framework ”.

ITU-T Study Group 13 would like to inform about the progress of Recommendation
ITU-T Y.3061 (formerly Y.AN-Arch-fw) “Autonomous Networks - Architecture
Framework”, which was consented at the ITU-T SG13 meeting (Geneva, 23 October -
3 November 2023).

This new Recommendation describes requirements, architecture, components and
related sequence diagrams which together comprise an architecture framework for
autonomous networks. The architecture framework for autonomous networks is
based on the key concepts of exploratory evolution, real-time responsive online
experimentation and dynamic adaptation.

ITU-T SG13 believes that this document will help in improving the robustness
and resilience of future networks while enabling the use case scenarios
described in [ITU-T Y.Suppl 71]. ITU-T SG13 looks forward to keeping continued
collaboration and exchange with you in the field of autonomous networks. ITU-T
SG13 welcomes any comments or feedback on this new Recommendation.
