Response to BBF Liaison "New project in BBF entitled "network resource model (NRM)” - questions answered
|
Body |
Dear Mr Lavoie, The IVY WG would like to thank BBF for its detailed liaison on the new work titled "Network Resource Model (NRM)" In addition to the questions in the liaison, there is quite a bit of information in the liaison for the IVY WG to review and consider. This is likely to generate questions and discussion both to clarify as well as comment on the work. Please note that anyone is invited to participate in and contribute to IVY WG meetings (e.g., IETF 119), interim meeting calls and the IVY WG email list per IETF process and procedure. The working group holds an interim meeting/call with a monthly cadence. We encourage the use of the IVY WG email list as the most effective and expedient way of exchanging information, answering questions, and progressing the work. However, if more interactive exchange is needed, we are happy to allocate time in one of our interim meetings to discuss your liaison and answer any questions you may have. We are planning to hold the next interim meeting after IETF 119 (Mar 16-22 2024, Brisbane, Australia); the exact dates and times are to be determined. Anyone participating in the WG may request the IVY WG Chairs to allocate a time slot: 1. for the BBF Liaison Officer for IETF to present and represent the liaison content and 2. to discuss the liaison content and answer/discuss questions. We look forward to participation on the IVY WG email list and meetings from those in BBF interested in the IVY work. Please see the links below to help facilitate IVY WG participation.
