Body
1. Overall description
The ETSI ISG ZSM would like to inform you about the initiation of a new
normative specification work on Network Digital Twin “ETSI GS ZSM018 Network
Digital Twin for enhanced zero-touch network and service management”.

ETSI GS ZSM018 will be a stage 1 and 2 specification based on the ZSM reference
architecture (defined in ETSI GS ZSM002). ETSI GS ZSM018 aims to address terms,
principles, use cases, requirements, and especially how NDT technologies can be
integrated both in the management domain as well as in the end-to-end
management domain in order to enable a high degree of network automation. This
document will summarize the enhancements of the ZSM reference architecture and
services by leveraging NDT capabilities. The draft specification is available
in the ISG Open Area (link).
