Body
1. Description

As a follow-up to the liaison statement [1] that was posted on 2023-10-09, the
IETF TEAS WG [2] would like to inform 3GPP about the progress of "IETF Network
Slice Application in 3GPP 5G End-to-End Network Slice" [3], an informational
document that is almost ready for Working Group Last Call. This document
describes the application of the IETF network slice framework in providing 5G
end-to-end network slices, including network slice mapping in the management,
control, and data planes.

The following is the mailing list where discussions related to these documents
take place [4].

2. Actions

The TEAS WG would like to request 3GPP to review the document and verify if the
description of the 3GPP 5G End-to-End Network Slice is accurate, and if not, to
kindly provide suggested clarifications. The TEAS WG would like to request that
feedback on this be provided in an LS by the deadline. The TEAS WG also
encourages the use of the TEAS WG mailing list for individuals to send
comments, raise concerns, and seek clarification on the document.

3. Upcoming Meeting

IETF 124 1-7 November 2025, Montreal, Canada
IETF 125 14-20 March 2026, Shenzhen, China
