Ballot Text

Technical Summary

This document assigns a value for EdDSA Public Keys to the IPSECKEY IANA registry.

Working Group Summary

This document is AD sponsored.

During the IESG review of draft-ietf-drip-rid-28 [0], there was a discuss around a ballot COMMENT [1] that resulted in a decision to move the registration request for the IPSECKEY registry [2] to a separate document. This is that separate document. As this was the result of an IESG deliberation with the authors/WG, extremely narrow in scope, and not in the remit of a current WG, Roman Danyliw agreed to AD sponsor it.

Review requests were solicited from SAAG prior to IETF LC. IETF LC directorate feedback was incorporated.
