Comments
The YANG Doctor's review looked at -08 version of the draft. We are now at -13. It would not be a bad idea for Andy to take a quick pass at it.

Hi,

I have been selected as the Operational Directorate (opsdir) reviewer for this
Internet-Draft.

The Operational Directorate reviews all operational and management-related
Internet-Drafts to ensure alignment with operational best practices and that
adequate operational considerations are covered.

A complete set of _"Guidelines for Considering Operations and Management in
IETF Specifications"_ can be found at
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc5706bis/.

While these comments are primarily for the Operations and Management Area
Directors (Ops ADs), the authors should consider them alongside other feedback
received.

## Summary

This draft defines the "ietf-yang-library-augmentedby" YANG module. It fills a
gap in RFC 8525 that only specifies the deviations YANG module but omits the
augmented-by YANG module.
Generally speaking this draft is a well-written YANG document, while it still
has some minor issues and nits that should be considered prior to publication.

---

## General Operational Comments Alignment with RFC 5706bis

This draft has contained an individual "Operational Considerations" section as
required by RFC 5706bis. Although the content in this section appears a bit
thin, as a YANG document that's acceptable for me.

---

## Major Issues

No major issues found.

---

## Minor Issues

A new sub-section "Requirements Language" should be separated from but not
merging with "Terminology" sub-section.

From the contents I don't see clear distinction between the Introduction
section and the Motivation section, and there are some overlaps, so the authors
may consider merging the two sections.

---

## Nits

Section 1, s/about the data model supported by the server/about the data models
supported by the server.

Section 1, it says "One specific limitation..." and "a similar restriction...".
It seems to me not a limitation or restriction but a requirement.

Section 1 and section 5, s/the modules and the augmented-by modules/the base
modules and the augmented-by modules.

Section 4, change yang-library/module-state to yang-library/modules-state

Section 4, NMDA needs expansion when first used.
