Q1/15 notes the announcement of a new IETF Homenet WG via iLS TD 558 (WP1). Q1/15 welcomes this new WG and is available via LS to review draft standards for home network architecture. Q1/15 notes the publication of several ITU-T Standards on Home Network Architecture: G.9970: Generic home network transport architecture G.9971: Requirements of transport functions in IP home networks In addition, a new standard G.9973: Protocol for identifying home network topology has been approved at the September 2011 SG 15 meeting and enters AAP approval process. It has been provided to IETF by separate liaison statement. Q1/15 looks forward to cooperation with IETF Homenet WG. |
