Abstract: This liaison statement informs ITU-T SG2 and IETF OPS area about
initiation of a new work item ITU-T Y.FunArch-INSA-FL “Functional architecture
for intelligent awareness of network status based on federated learning”

During the ITU-T SG13 meeting (Geneva, 4 - 15 March 2024), ITU-T Q7/13 agreed
on the initiation of a new work item on “Functional architecture for
intelligent awareness of network status based on federated learning” (ITU-T
Y.FunArch-INSA-FL, SG13-TD353/WP2).

ITU-T Y.FunArch-INSA-FL aims to illustrate functional architecture for
intelligent awareness of network status based on federated learning.

ITU-T SG13 would like to thank you for your attention and look forward to
future cooperation on this subject.
