1) Welcome, notetaker, agenda bash

• No changes to agenda requested
• Charles Eckel and Peter Schmitt, though correctly identified as
  "Leads", did not have the usual WG chairs permissions to share
  slides, etc. The chat functionality did not work either.
• Thanks to Francesca Palombini for reporting the issue and to
  Meetecho for providing a quick workaround in setting Charles and
  Peter as delegates. This enabled slide sharing for the rest of the
  session. The permissions issue can be tracked here.

2) Update on 3GPP activities with respect to IETF

a) 3GPP-IETF Coordination

b) Ongoing Liaison Statements exchanged between IETF and 3GPP
- Reply LS on DTLS for SCTP next steps and request for input

- Ongoing discussion in TSVWG. No additional liaison specific activity
required at this time.
- LS on need for modeling isInvariant and SystemCreated in YANG to
Netmod (2023/03/23)
- System-defined Configuration, draft-ietf-netmod-system-config,
progressing within NETMOD WG
- WG adoption call for YANG Metadata Annotation for Immutable Flag,
draft-ma-netmod-immutable-flag-08, completed with mixed opinions.
More discussion in NETMOD at IETF 118.
- LS on a Framework for Network Slices in Networks Built from IETF
Technologies (2023/10/23)

c) Ongoing IANA action
- Handled more timely and smoothly now that process is well known in
3GPP and requests are tracked at IANA Pending Request Registry

d) Status of the 3GPP-IETF dependencies
- draft-jesske-update-p-visited-network completed WGLC in SIPCORE
but nothing more after than. Charles will check with author and chairs
regarding next steps
- draft-boro-opsawg-teas-attachment-circuit dependency discovered
late due to process gap on 3GPP side. Peter to follow up on closing this
process gap. Charles shared that adoption call in OPSAWG concluded with
support to adopt in some form, but may be combined with some related
drafts
- draft-schwarz-mmusic-sdp-for-gw remains stalled due to lack of
active subject matter experts interested in progressing the draft.
Releated to H.248. Next steps not clear.
- Erik Kline called attention to additional drafts of potential
interest

- Basic Support for IPv6 Networks Operating over 5G
Vehicle-to-Everything Communications,
draft-jeong-6man-ipv6-over-5g-v2x is on agenda for presentation in
WG at IETF 118 in Prague
- In DMM
- Informational drafts on distributed mobility management related to
3GPP operations using segment routing
- Peter shared that study in 3GPP concluded with decision to not pursue
for 5G but may be reconsidered for 6G, which is anticipated to align
with Release 20 and/or 21. Informational RFC 9433 already
published.
- Hannu Flinck highlighted Mobile User Plane Evolution,
draft-zzhang-dmm-mup-evolution
